Royal Challengers Bangalore team bowler Herschelle Patel has set a stunning record as part of IPL 2022.



 In the match against Calcutta Knight Riders, he took 2 wickets for 2 maiden overs.

 

 Not only that, these two overs were bowled in a row. In total, Bangalore won the match by 3 wickets.


 Earlier, another Bangalore bowler, Mohammad Siraj, bowled the same Calcutta Knight Riders maiden overs twice in a row in 2021.


 So far 2 bowlers have bowled maiden overs twice in a row and they are 2 Bangalore bowlers.


 Bangalore team fans are very proud of both of them being Bangalore bowlers. So far Bangalore have won 1 of 2 matches.  Duplessis was selected as captain this year.

Lucknow Super Giants openers Quinton Decock and KL Rahul recorded a massive 210-run partnership in the match between Lucknow Super Giants and Calcutta Knight Riders as part of IPL 2022. This is the highest opening partnership in the history of the Indian Premier League so far. Former Sunrisers Hyderabad openers Johnny Bairstow and David Warner's partnership of 185 is the highest opening partnership in the IPL so far.  The opening partnership was recorded in 2019 against Royal Challengers Bangalore. Both the openers scored centuries in this match.
